THE SPIRITUALIST

I had everything I wanted. Until I realized what I needed - silence.

The Beginning of Stillness

For years, Yashpal Singh Parmar lived what many would call the perfect life, born in privilege, leading empires, building success. But somewhere between the sound of machines, meetings, and milestones, a quiet question began to rise inside him:
“If I’ve built everything I once dreamed of, why do I still feel incomplete?”
That question didn’t demand answers - it demanded awareness. And from that awareness began his journey into stillness, simplicity, and spirit. What is all this for?

The Meaning of Shiv

Yashpal’s spiritual foundation rests on his understanding of Shiv - not as a god with a form, but as an existence without one. To him, Shiv is energy, not entity, the invisible rhythm that runs through everything that breathes and everything that doesn’t.
He often says:
“Shiv is not someone I pray to. Shiv is the silence I return to.”What is all this for?

A Life Simplified

His spiritual transformation didn't make his life smaller; it made it clearer.
He didn't withdraw - he simplified.
He didn't change the outer world - he changed how he saw it.
He adopted veganism, not as a trend, but as gratitude. For him, it's a way of living that doesn't harm what nourishes.
He surrounds himself with minimal things, but maximum meaning.
He spends time with his wife, Lovey Singh Parmar, and their two children, Shivanshika and Shivansham - whose names themselves reflect the two sides of Shiv: creation and consciousness.
“My family is my ashram.
They remind me that the truest form of meditation is love.”

Through his children, he sees purity. Through his wife, he experiences grace. Through family, he found what wealth could never give, happiness without condition.

The Practice of Happiness

For Yashpal, happiness is not the result of achievement - it's the rhythm of acceptance.
He believes that joy doesn't come when life becomes perfect; it comes when the need for perfection fades.
“Happiness is not a pursuit - it's a posture.”
He finds it in small things: the sound of his children laughing, the calm of early mornings, the quiet after a long day's work, the stillness before sleep.
He often says that the secret to peace is not balance between work and life - it's oneness between them.

Conscious Realism

Out of this inner clarity emerged a life philosophy Yashpal calls Conscious Realism - a way of living where spirituality and practicality are not opposites, but partners.
To him, success without awareness is hollow.
And awareness without action is wasted.
Conscious Realism means:
To build ethically.
To earn without exploitation.
To lead without ego.
To live lightly, but deeply.
It's the same principle he carries into his businesses - whether through SEPL's responsible real estate or the values that shape his leadership.
“Spirituality is not about leaving business,
it's about bringing soul into business.”

The Silence That Moves

Yashpal believes that spirituality isn't about grand gestures - it's about how quietly you live your truth.
It's in the calm with which he makes decisions.
It's in the grace with which he accepts change.
It's in how he speaks less, but means more.
He doesn't measure his life by numbers anymore - but by how peaceful his nights are, and how grateful his mornings feel.
“I've learned that peace is not the absence of noise.
It's the strength to stay silent within it.”

The Essence

Spirituality, for Yashpal, is not an escape - it's an evolution.
It's not about temples, chants, or ceremonies.
It's about the way he looks at his world - with compassion, clarity, and calm conviction.
He believes that wealth, work, and worship are not separate journeys - they are one.
And that happiness is not found at the top of the mountain - it's discovered in the way you climb.
“I no longer chase happiness.
I practice it.”

Today, when people ask him what spirituality means, Yashpal smiles and says:

“It means living gently.
Loving fully.
And remembering that we are all just reflections of Shiv - infinite, formless, alive.”
